Itinerary
Upon arrival in Cairo, one of the largest cities in the world located on both sides of the Nile, you will be greeted and assisted through entry formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the Giza plateau to explore the iconic pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as the Great Sphinx. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Luxor, where you will spend the night.
Begin the day with a visit to the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built, dedicated to the god Amun. It was constructed over 2000 years by the most important kings of Egypt. Afterward, visit the Luxor Temple, which was built to honor Amun-Rê and was the site of an annual procession celebrating his marriage to the goddess Mut. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Cross the Nile to visit the Theban Necropolis on the west bank, where you will explore the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of many Pharaohs and a Queen. You'll also see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Optional activity: Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a unique structure partially carved into the mountain at Deir el-Bahari. Return to your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, transfer to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast, where you will check in to your hotel. The afternoon is free for relaxation on the beach, with an all-inclusive meal plan.
Spend a day at leisure in Hurghada. You can opt for an excursion to Mahmya Island, a beautiful natural reserve with clear turquoise waters and coral reefs ideal for snorkeling. Lunch is included on the island, but drinks are not.
Another free day in Hurghada. Optional activity: Enjoy a desert safari by 4x4 vehicle, visiting a Bedouin camp, riding a quad bike, and enjoying a traditional Bedouin meal while watching a show under the stars.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will either fly back to Cairo on Day 7 or Day 8. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo and return home.
